Every now and then I feel like doing something new. It's that fickle part of me that's always starting new projects and never satisfied. I don't have a hobby per se but a lot of what I like to do involve DIY. A lot of times it begins with an innocent scroll through Pinterest and ends with a bag full of raw materials I never even knew existed and a table covered in messy mess.
I'm writing this blog because I feel like I should share. Reading DIY blogs from the U.S. it seems as though all anyone needs to do is "pop over to your local Michael's" to get a bottle of <insert-random-esoteric-ingredient>. Not only do we not have a Michael's (whatever that is), we don't have many places that tells us where we can get things in KL. Most of the time I find myself spending hours on google, visiting dodgy shops and calling/emailing random suppliers to get what I want. When I'm lucky, my google search "where can I buy ___ in Malaysia" brings me to a kindred spirit who's kindly blogged the all-important info.
This space is a way to share what I know and what I've found others know about living/crafting/baking/etc in the Klang Valley.
